Our growing dental offices in New Hampton and Charles City are looking for a motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. Whether you are experienced or just starting your career, we are willing to train the right candidate and support them in achieving licensure.

What You’ll Do

As an important part of our clinical team, you will:

  • Assist the dentist and hygienist chairside during procedures
  • Take dental radiographs, impressions, and records (as permitted by licensure)
  • Prepare and break down operatories efficiently
  • Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA and infection control standards
  • Maintain and clean clinical and laboratory equipment
  • Update electronic patient records and assist with scheduling
  • Support front office tasks, including answering phones, processing payments, and scheduling appointments
  • Contribute to a smooth, organized, and welcoming patient experience

Qualifications

Preferred (but not required):

  • Previous dental assisting experience
  • Level I or Level II Expanded Function Dental Assistant certification
  • Experience with radiography protocols and impression taking
  • Knowledge of dental treatment, instrumentation, and sterilization methods
  • Familiarity with OSHA and infection control standards

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
